I love the colorado lure but finding them is quite an ordeal. Even the big outfitter supplers don't seen to have them in stock or even mentioned. Does anyone know where they can be found.

I agree with the land owners. A person should ask permission to hunt or be on the property. I find that in most cases that if the answer is no it's because some one has already spoiled it for any one else.

I had tresspasser problems on my property for years. I would escort them off and very often within a week or so they'd be back. Finally after one strolled in and began climbing the ladder to my blind (with me in it) I had enough, started taking drivers license numbers down and calling the sheriff. Shortly after they started getting tickets my tresspasser problems dropped and eventually word got around with the locals that I would prosecute every time. Didn't have any problems after that.

I also built mine 12 feet long by 4 feet wide. 4x6 foot end walls along with two full 4x6 floor pannels framed in with 2"x2" post. The floor has four framed out holes with hinged covers on them so they can be closed up when not in use or if you need more floor space. Each floor panel is hinged to the bottoms of the end walls and folds up for storage and transport. Basically four panels stacked on top of each other with the tarp folded up in the middle. Mine is heavy but it is maneuverable and very durable. I also double layered the tarp to keep more light out and cut a hole in one end wall and put in a metal sleeve to accomodate wood stove piping. pretty nice a cozy in there! haha!

I am also a land owner, and I have had more than one bad experience where a neighboring land owners family and friends have (beer in one hand, gun in the other) have tried to evict me from "my own" property! When I inform them that I am the actual land owner, they look at my like I'm lieing to them and continue you to cuss me out and mouth off with an array of threats. In one case I even recited my address to them in an attempt to prove to them I owned this property, and despite that, they argued that it was their property, albeit, such was not anywhere being true!

In my experience, it's never been a case of an "outsider" trespassing on my property, it has always been someone from a neighboring land owners friends and family that has the attitude that "any and all property" that is anywhere near that of theirs belongs to them, and there are no "boundries" for them, and have self-appointed themselves as "keepers of the gate" no matter the fact that the "gate" is not theirs!

In an effort to apease this matter, I looked up who was the actual owner of the neighboring property, and I went to his house in an effort to make an arraingment with him stating that I would permit him and his family members to hunt on my property as long as they had a note with them from him stateing that they had permission from him to hunt there. I was then promptly told that " I don't need to hunt on your property, I have enough of my own!" I then told him that obviously that was not the case, otherwise his friends and family members would not be trying to evict me from mine! He the promptly slammed the door in my face.

Point and case here, no amount of signage makes any difference to this hoard of people! "They" decide what the legal bounderies are, and write the rules as they go. When hunting season comes around, a drive by the house connected to their property will have an average of ten to fifteen vehicles jam packed whereever they can park them, and it's "let the drinking and hunting session begin!" Call the authorities? Huh? What's that???? Always a total waste of my time! The only thing that has ever got me is to later find my out-buildings peppered full of holes, and my property littered with wiskey bottles and beer cans!

Happy hunting!!
