Image Mapping
This is a form of creating a roadmap for a single picture or a number of pictures put together. Say for instance you wanted to run a bunch of animals graphics together in one photo but link each specific animal to a designated portion of your website. Image mapping is precisely what you need. You've probably seen it and wondered how it was done. The idea is to create a seamless photo with no slicing [see sample of image slicing here] yet link the different areas with no telltale signs of alteration.

Although it's used mainly on "splash pages" it can be embedded on any page of your website.

On the sample below, run your cursor over the image until it detects a link then click. Different portions of the deer below will be linked to different pages. In this case the image map will be explaining the functions of deer glands so think head, legs, and hoove areas.

Because of the many different scenarios involved in image mapping, and image slicing, we do not have any set rate or flate fee for this service. All quotes will be determined by work and time involved to complete each project.
